The Central Louisiana Economic Development Alliance (CLEDA) is an organization which consists of the economic development entities from the parishes (counties) of Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, Grant, LaSalle, Rapides, Vernon and Winn. 

The mission of the Central Louisiana Economic Development Alliance is to advance the knowledge and understanding of economics and to develop economic planning and development that would bring about improved efficiency, development, and acceleration of both the quality and quantity of economic growth and employment opportunities.

 
CLEDA accomplishes this mission by:

• Keeping current data on Central Louisiana parishes
• Marketing the region to a national audience through publications and website
• Working with expert consultants to provide educational opportunities to our members and information to potential industrial prospects
• Actively promoting industrial locations within the region and maintaining a web based inventory of potential sites
• Continuously communicating with existing businesses to maximize our business expansion and retention efforts
